Equally noteworthy is the halim, which captures the essence of Hyderabad's street food culture, earning rave reviews for its rich texture and flavor. “ A very humble looking joint…but the food here was simply delicious. Arguably one of the best biryanis I have had so far. Chicken 65 while not made in my usually preferred dry style was also really good and flavourful that went particularly well with biryani. The tandoori chicken is also excellent. ”
“ The food is why you come here. This is the sort of place where. You see slim people walk in and heavy set people waddle out. They serve mandi (lamb and chicken) Biryani (mutton, chicken or chicken 65) A combination of mutton and 65 is my pick. It will set you back 30 bucks. But, it's a mighty meal. If you are observing the boycott there are some super markets down the street. That have Pakistani or indian drinks or a lassi made in hoppers crossing. (Side note thumbs up is a coke cola product) This is the sort of place you make sure you are wearing your big pants that allows for extra room. Because, you will need that extra space. ”
“ We went in a group of 14 people. Chicken 65, goat Briyani, Halim and chicken Briyani was too good. One of the best I have had in Melbourne. Food was fresh and the rice was cooked well and was just perfect. The 14 of us agreed it’s the best. Very humble and polite staff and we got the food on the table in less than 15 mins. ”
“ Tried their chicken 65 biryani, typical Hyderabad style. Loved the biryani, will visit again. They do serve haleem & sheek kebabs. Update: Visited again, during Ramadan month, loved their Haleem & Chicken Dum Biryani ”
